You can download the AOE3 trial version here. Unfortunately, the scenario editor was not included yet in the trial version, but the files in the trial version already allow a deep look into the details of the moddable files, and even more, a deeper look at the artificial intelligence files (AI) and random map script (RMS) possibilities - without moddings. HS is already able to present you some modified random maps. Below, you will find new maps which are fun to play. But, we also want to notice, that we do not publish any new RMS terrain maps, until we had a deeper look into ALL features of the RETAIL AOE3 version - else, it is a waste of time, and we try to avoid wasting time ;) Installation instructions for all downloaded maps: We assume "C:\" is the drive where you installed the Windows system files. We assume "D:\" is the drive where you installed the AOE3 program files. Each map consists of 2 files (.xs and .xml), so always copy both files! --- AOE3 Retail Version Maps - declared as (Download Retail Version): Unzip and copy all files into the directory: "C:\...\"Your_Name"\My Documents\My Games\Age of Empires 3\RM\" (This is NOT the program directory!) --- AOE3 Trial Version Maps - declared as (Download Trial Version): Unzip and copy all files into the directory: "D:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires 3\RM\" (In this case the original map files must be replaced, so back them up!) --- Any new AOE3 maps you want to see more? 	Texas Winter (Download Retail Version)		Texas Winter - The Ultimate Tutorial Map Version 1.0 The modified ES "Texas" map by M0nTy_PyTh0n Description: This map is the "winter" version of the original AOE3 "Texas" map. AND: It is also the first tutorial map ever! This means: You can even create this map by yourself! How? Just read Hyena Studios AOE3 RMS Tutorial HERE! Features: • Just download it, or create it by yourself! Yes! See description above! • Playable exactly like the regular "Texas" random map - just select the custom map "Texas Winter" when hosting. • works in singleplayer mode, multiplayer mode and on ESO2.

	TOTAL WAR MAPS:		A "Total War" map is a map with unlimited resources at start!

	Total War III (Download Retail Version)		Total War III Version 1.0 by M0nTy_PyTh0n Description: Large circle shaped island. Players are placed on small separate islands at the coasts. No trees or any other stuff, just a descent flat terrain. Almost unlimited resources at start. 2 skins, tropical and frozen. Features: • 2 random skins: Summer and Winter. • terrain optimized for max game performance. • playable with any game settings. • works in singleplayer mode, multiplayer mode and on ESO2. • almost unlimited resouces and XP at start. Hints: • Docks can be build on the steep cliff coasts. • In a long gameplay you might run out of coins. In this case use your trade market. • Home cities (HC's) with "coins" and "technology" cards can be very useful. The AI works great in game (better than TW in AOM).

Features: • Deathmatch settings (Food/Wood/Coins = 20000). • 4 outposts added near the towncenter, like in AOM . • slight changes and fixes to the object constraints. • all DM maps are revealed! Important notes: For playing these map files, you have to replace your current maps by the new ones. However, in the download file there is a backup of the original map files. Please, also read the "readme.txt" file for installation instructions - also included in the download file. The usage of these files is at your own risk. So, again, read the "readme.txt" file. Now download, and enjoy!
